The Kentucky Castle !
With today’s obsession with fantasy worlds like Game of Thrones , it’s no wonder The Kentucky Castle Post is quickly becoming Kentucky’s premium getaway spot. What I experienced there was not what I anticipated. In fact, it’s everything I didn’t even know I wanted in a hotel. The Kentucky Castle Post was far more than a childhood fantasy, but rather an adult escape from our mundane daily routines. It’s a magical place that allowed me breathe and relax in a classy magical space.
My Room .. The Presidential Terrace Suite Standard room
All the staff couldn’t help themselves from gleaming with complete adoration for the historical castle. They all were so very helpful and kind. The limited number of room definitely adds to royalty treatment. A much appreciated exclusive treat. We stayed in the Presidential Terrace Suite Standard room and the room was to die for. The bed was a heavenly cloud with the finest linens. The Bathroom had a luxury Jacuzzi and Shower. And the views of the estate from our room were gorgeous. All the newly remodeled rooms have their own sense of charm and good range of price points; I can’t wait to go again to experience a different room.
They also offer an excellent farm to table restaurant, bourbon bar, intimate library, castle tours, and a gift shop (they have branded tiaras, Ladies!). I had the Halibut, brussel sprout salad, white wine and lemon bar for desert. We ended the night in their classy bourbon room for a night cap. The vibe there was on point.
I’ve traveled all over the world .. Paris, the Greek Isles, Hawaii, and India but the experiences I had in The Kentucky Castle will forever be one of my favorite memories. I love having a such a magical destination spot, located in right in my home state of Kentucky.
